  1. Great information on your article.
Felt that my site was not good enough to be a website, thank you for correction, it is now not my blog but my website.
Also, I get totally confused by so much to do and read to keep up-to-date with the nuances of getting my website out there! For instance ‘Really Simple Syndication (RSS)’ was not so simple when I looked into it in the past, will look at it again but have no idea what is “an RSS Aggregator like Newsgator (which I use) or Bloglines—kind of like Tivo for your Internet”
I am subscribe to my favorite news like Huffington post and actually have some followers.
The grammar thing….well…I am very insecure about grammar. English is my second language and I still have a problem with grammar even though I started to speak English very young and graduated from high school and went to college here in the US. I uses Grammarian but when I write in my iPad, as I am doing now, Grammarian does not work well.
Have earned income and published as a freelance writer and for over 20 years did technical and business writing as a professional but had my work edited and that can’t be done when writing the tons of writing I do in social media.
Suggestions and help in all the above is welcomed!

  2. Inspiring post. I’ve had a site for years and I do have the hundreds of pages of content. Done have been linked to in surprising (and delightful, to me) ways. Thank you for the encouragement to keep moving forward!

  3. Thank you, Joshua. I found your article on the Qld Writers’ Centre website. It was succinct, replete with useful information.

  4. Hi there,

Another great way to generate interest is to promote fellow writers–Tweet their short stories in lit journals, interview them, review their books. It such a great way for us to support one another and maybe rack up a few good karma points.

    Cheers!

  6. I hardly create responses, however i did a few searching and wound up here
Do Writers Need a Website?. And I do have 2 questions for you if you usually do not mind.
Could it be simply me or does it seem like some of the remarks look like they are written
by brain dead people? 😛 And, if you are posting on additional sites, I would like to follow everything new you have
to post. Would you make a list of all of your communal pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

  7. Hello! I’ve been reading your site for some time now and finally

  11. Right now it seems like WordPress is the preferred blogging platform out
there right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you are using on your blog?

  12. Aw, this was an exceptionally good post. Spending some time and
actual effort to produce a good article… but what can I
say… I put things off a whole lot and don’t seem to get nearly anything done.
