Congratulations to our two $25 contest winners!

Posted on May 4, 2024May 15, 2024 by Richard

Congratulations to our two $25 contest winners!

In the 50-word horror story category, Erin has crafted a chilling tale that left us on the edge of our seats:

“The zombies clawed at the door, their moans filling the air. She clutched her child close, praying they’d hold out until dawn. A crash – the barricade gave way. Hungry eyes locked onto fresh prey as rotting hands reached forward. Her last thought as teeth tore flesh: I’m sorry, baby.”

Erin’s story masterfully builds tension and ends with a heart-wrenching twist, making it a truly haunting read.

In the six-word memoir category, Natalie Dillingham has captured a profound emotional journey in just a few words:

“Out of psychosis, into the blooms”

Natalie’s memoir is a testament to the power of brevity, conveying a story of struggle and hope in a beautifully poetic way.

Both of these entries showcase the incredible talent and creativity of our community. We will be contacting Erin and Natalie to arrange for the delivery of their well-deserved $25 prizes.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our contest. Stay tuned for more exciting opportunities to share your writing and connect with fellow literary enthusiasts!
