From the Editor
Not Your Eyes is a publishing house established in 2013. Content is mainly published online but will also find its way into annual, biannual or quarterly print anthologies, depending on how much time, money, and energy are available. Not Your Eyes is non-profit and any money that might (miraculously) be made through the sale of print anthologies will contribute to the production of subsequent issues.
Submissions
We publish short works of fiction and non-fiction which let you escape your daily routine. There are no particular submission criteria for fiction. For non-fiction, a strong personal dimension in the prose is important. The reader must be given the chance to see the world through the eyes of the author. Submissions need to be in English but do not need to be unpublished. However, please respect any exclusivity arrangements you might be engaged in. When it comes to format, anything goes. We welcome old-fashioned structures such as the essay or the short story. But we also feel very positive about anything that challenges conventions, such as maybe a collection of Twitter or Facebook posts, or a WhatsApp conversation.
