From the Publisher
Atomic Drop Press publishes smart, funny, off-beat fiction and non-fiction. After working with mainstream publishers from Random House to DC Comics to the National Lampoon, our authors have decided to join us in the e-publishing revolution. With the release of The Max Kleinman Reader we also brought back Will Jacobs and Gerard Jones’ cult classic The Beaver Papers in an updated 30th Anniversary Edition, which features two sample scripts from their forthcoming sequel The Beaver Papers 2. A host of future books and ebooks are currently in production. See our website for further information and publications list.

Currently ADP has a small pool of favored authors. Anything truly smart, funny, and off-beat would of course be considered.

Dear Mr. Lawrence:
I’m an expert at love gone wrong – often hilariously wrong. I once told a girl I liked her – she pushed me down a flight of stairs. I gave my girlfriend the keys to my car – she repeatedly ran it into a garage door.
Horndog recounts the misadventures of my so-called love life, the women I’ve loved, lost and lusted after, including:
· Veronica, who ate lithium like Pez, drove like Ray Charles and faked her own death.
· Joya, “the destroyah,” who was not averse to making love in the morgue, during a parade or in the middle of Macy’s
showroom floor.
· Doxie, the Aussie au pair known to her many male admirers as “The Body.” Her lust for liquor meant she would
never be called “the brain,”
· Holly, a woman so chaste, so revered by her neighbors she was called “Holy Holly.” Naturally, I had to ruin her and
our relationship.
· Trixie and Dixie, two carnal city connoisseurs whose love for bubble baths and blow left me gasping. “I love New
York.”
Plus forty years of strippers, stalkers, stoners and sluts who made me the inveterate bachelor I am today.
I would be happy to send you a copy of Horndog for your review. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Michael Jefferson

Hi, I’m first time self-publisher. I wrote The Blue Sphere. Xulon Press is my designated representative publishing company. They scammed me their broken unprecedented acceding policy. No reports of sales of book receipt statistical records were released to me and probably a lot of my 1st book and copies manufactured went back into press pretentiously scornful , they scammed over probably 4-500 other publishers, independent or self-publishing companies in the United States and need national attention by Commerce to be investigated for fraud by the Better Business Bureau. I have a second book in 2-3 months… it’s almost done with 52-53 pages to fill, complete, cover, and cluster my poetic/philosophical ideas. Can you help me? I need trustworthy Publisher that’s not hellbent to take the money, care for the client tenacious about their hopes shared, goals aspired, and attitude expectations appeased happiness. I need reputable publisher not a printing press envious critique who stereotypes skeptical criticism. Can you please send me a publishing guid e or material about your services, products, staff, resources and other helpful details I can use as tool to connect and correspond with publishing specialists. My 2nd book should forgo available publishing in 2-3 business months. Thanks.

Hi there, I live in England (don’t laugh) and in my opinion have composed a funny book about life, which obviously is not over yet, because if it was somebody else would be writing this e mail on my behalf. The book is loosely based on my working experiences, alcohol experiences, opposite sex experiences, and anybody else who knows me. I have called the little piece “Going Through The Door Marked Staff” and my Mother likes, however her opinion is not what it used to be basically because she has been dead for 23 years. My completed manuscript, comprising approximately 750 pages which amounts to roughly 280,000 words is in the words of Michael Buffer “Ready to Rumble” question is, are you, awesome!!
Kind Regards, Dave.

I am currently searching for a publishing company to help publish my first manuscript. It is a fantasy novel cross between Conan & Samson. You know Samson and Delilah that’s in the Bible.
The name of the manuscript: Stragaton The Warrior King. It is a series of three books. All three books are completed. I just printed the second book, which I would like to email you and allow you to read the manuscript.

I have self-published with Xulon Press. If you are open to a submission I would be happy to send my book or manuscript for review. The following is a quick view of “Child of Stone”.
Would you please consider an adventure fantasy set in a distant realm of the universe? The struggle of a child cursed by darkness is a page-turning novel.
“Expect the unexpected in a time of need.” (Priest of Stars)
Child of Stone is a 100,000 word completed middle grade fantasy book full of action and adventure. It tells the story of a child who is cursed by a dragontail and transformed into a child of stone. Morning Star (Child of Stone), Night Star, and Princess Marsela become entangled in a conflict for the fate of their world, Blutar.
The adventure begins when a dark Immortal discovers a realm created by the Light. Darkness invades, a child is born, and a curse summoned. The songs of the Immortals call out to claim them, as they require worthy Bludanians to be their champions. Each is chosen by an Immortal and sent on an adventure to meet enchanted spirits and then transformed.
Will Morning Star make the correct choices and find the faith, courage, and sacrifices necessary to break the curse, find the champion within, rescue a princess, and save the kingdoms from death and destruction?
If you like a tale of challenge and adversity; faith, courage, and sacrifice; battle and conflict; imaginative creatures and enchanted spirits; and young romance then Mount Up–Time to Ride!
I grew up on the banks of the Arkansas River in Kansas where princes, princesses, and creatures became heroes. My adventures continued in the United States Marine Corps in every clime and place leading bold men of true grit around the world. A published author in the Army’s Armor Magazine; former Commanding Officer of the USMC 1st Tank Battalion, 1st Marine Division; a combat veteran and Distinguished Knight of the Order of St George; I now reside in Kentucky with my princess writing the Child of Stone series.
Sincerely, Randy Carlton, USMC, LtCol (Ret)
