Wordpool Press is a publisher of fiction and nonfiction books in both print and electronic form. We also publish short stories, poetry, and artwork in our online literary journal titled Digital Papercut. Wordpool Press is owned and operated by Central Michigan University graduates and aims to help talented new writers build their publishing history.
Submissions
Wordpool Press is currently seeking fiction and nonfiction manuscripts. We like new. We like different.
Biographies, how-to guides, and creative nonfiction are all nonfiction genres we consider. We are also interested in academic criticism, particularly concerning literature or literature theory.
Thrillers, mysteries, literature, and adventures are of particular interest. We are not interested in romance.
Please see our submissions page for a complete rundown of what we like to see in a submission. Our press is open to accepting many different types of writing, so long as they are well executed. We like stories that focus on engaging the reader’s interest while focusing on character. We expect to see a balance of external (setting, movement) and internal (thought, feeling) descriptions in scenes, not just pages of dialogue.
