Hello ABDO Publishing (Magic Wagon),
My name is Peter Cassidy and I have a new learning series that highlights themes geared to young learners; these titles also feature strategic ellipses for language learning. After graduating from Columbia University Teachers College, I became very focused on using Writers Workshop with my young learners here in Japan. I have also incorporated these principles to support my language learners from grade 3 to 6. As the Elementary Language Support Coordinator here at the Canadian International School in Tokyo, I have been able to advocate the benefits of stories for learning and use these stories as teaching tools. I have watched my students learn vocabulary and grammar targets through the power of small moment narratives and I hope to be invited to submit these stories to your “Magic Wagon” imprint company. I have sent the sixth story in the series so that you can see how the books have been formatted for learning. I have also included my resume which highlights my teaching credentials as well as my academic publications. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
Kind Regards,
Peter Cassidy
