Pants On Fire Press is a children’s book publisher. We publish popular genre fiction and select nonfiction children’s books, picture books and young adult books for children and discerning adults. We hope you enjoy our books. Our mission is simply to speak, as Walt Disney once said, ?to the child in each of us.? We do this by delivering quality, originality, and great storytelling ?the ingredients found in every Pants On Fire Press book we publish. “We are not trying to entertain the critics. Submissions
We are accepting unsolicited manuscripts for picture, middle grade and young adult books. For fiction, the genre is wide open. For nonfiction, we are specifically looking for technology and health & wellness books.
We are one of the few children’s book publishers accepting unsolicited manuscripts. For novels, send a query letter. For illustrations, send three sample illustrations. Paste the query letter in the body of the e-mail and send to submission AT pantsonfirepress DOT com. Text attachments will be deleted. Art may be attached. Before sending us your query please be sure that we are the right kind of publisher for your book. Review our books. Also, note that we do not accept unsolicited novel-length manuscripts. So do not send them! And never send us your original work or art. And finally, we will contact you if we are interested. Pants On Fire Press does not assume responsibility for any unsolicited manuscripts which we may receive. Further, in receiving a submission, we do not assume any duty not to publish a book based on a similar idea, concept or story. All submissions are recycled.

My children’s chapter book is about the hilarious antics of a seven year old boy named Freeman Falloon. It is the first in a series of books about Freeman, the second being, ADVENTURES IN GRADE TWO, and the third, THE CATASTROPHY ARRIVES. The first book explains in a very humorous way, the impending doom of the expectant baby sister, who to Freeman, will be a CATASTROPHY.
The first book in the series is ready and I am hoping that you are interested in having a copy sent to you. I understand that you do not accept complete novels, but as it is a children’s book (at this time without illustrations) the actual text is less than 45 minutes of fun reading.
As the audience for this book is children from four to eight years old, the market would be parents, grandparents, teachers and anyone who loves humor in the everyday life of a child.
