Information about your publication:
971 MENU is a purely online not-for-profit venture. We publish whenever we have enough work to justify an issue. That means five pieces. The minimum time between issues is thirty days, and attempts are made to coincide with the first of the month. We publish fiction and nonfiction of any length and sometimes accidentally other stuff. 971 MENU began in September 2006 as a publisher of fiction under 1000 words. We are pleased with our work, and we are quite pleased with the high-quality work we have been fortunate enough to publish, but we no longer limit ourselves in terms of length. However, your chance of seeing a thirty-page epic here is fairly slim. We still put out the short stuff, and some that’s a little bit longer. A word about Flash Fiction: Lots of people become overstimulated by terminology, which harms the work. We try not to do that. We try to provide well-crafted objects that aren’t too full of themselves.
