From the Editor
Illuminarium Chronicles is an international literary magazine that was created to be a bridge to freedom of expression and aims to publish creative works that enlighten human awareness. Inspired by the Enlightenment, an intellectual movement of the XVII Century, and centered around the arts & society, the magazine believes in the power of young voices and looks forward to inspiring writers to use their voices in the globalized world. Illuminarium is a platform where arts and politics can intersect. We accept submissions to our Virtual Gallery and Blog via email. Please, contact illuminariumchr@gmail.com if you have any questions. We are excited to read your work!
Submissions
We are currently accepting poetry submissions for our Virtual Gallery. We select five poems each month, and we are looking for impactful unthemed works that embrace truth, social awareness, and multiculturalism. In addition to the Gallery, we publish diverse pieces on our blog: The Illuminare. Writers may submit book reviews, commentary and analysis articles. Book reviews: are an informal analysis of literary works (500 to 800 words). Articles on politics/international affairs: Commentary articles contain a brief comment on a recent event (500 to 1000 words). Analyses are more in-depth articles that provide detailed information (900 to 1200 words). Personal and short stories: Want to write about multiculturalism and tell your own story? Send us your work (600-1000 words).
