From the Editor

Gravel Literary Journal is a new online literary journal created by University of Arkansas-Monticello MFA students.

Submissions

Gravel is presently accepting original, unpublished work for its online literary journal. In particular, we are interested in fiction and creative nonfiction anywhere from 25 to 2,500 words in length, poetry (no more than 5 poems per submission), photo essays, artwork, comics, video, hybrid?look, we?ve got eclectic tastes here. Don?t be afraid to submit works that defy form or genre. We cannot pay you, but if it makes you feel better, we?re not getting paid, either.

TELL US ABOUT UPCOMING EVENTS OR CONTESTS

Throughout the summer months, they will be updating with new work each week.
