From the Editor

Dactyl is a new print publication. We have just launched our inaugural issue at Summerhall in Edinburgh to much fanfare. We accept poetry, prose, illustration,photography, calligraphy. We also welcome surprises, and people who chance their mitt.

Submissions

Our first issue is a collection of work in response to the theme ‘lost & found’. Our next call for entries will be in January 2014 and is likely to be set to a theme too. We like the weird, the wonderful, the beautiful, the stuff that makes your heart ache or your heart soar, we like to be freaked out, we like to disagree with something but see it for it’s beauty despite that contradiction, we like poems that are oppositional to the theme as well as ones that are bang-on-the-nose.
