From the Editor

We showcase the best new contemporary short stories by writers living in NI and Ireland. We are looking for interviewers, reviewers and guest bloggers – drop us a line if you are interested in helping out.

Submissions

In March we accept memoir, short stories and flash. In June we accept one act plays, short stories and flash. In September we accept essays, short stories and flash. In December we accept poetry, short stories and flash.

From Submissions page:

“We want to read and publish the brightest and best of your words, to hear your voice, no one else’s.

We want beauty, hurt, truth and dreams tautly wrapped; crystal visions and precise edits.

We feel that, as far as poetry goes, there are many publications on this little island covering the art form beautifully, we are keeping contemporary short fiction at the heart of this journal, more specifically previously unpublished work (we do NOT accept work that has been on public forums nor on your personal blog) from writers living in Northern Ireland and Ireland.

We will explore poetry, memoir, essay and playwriting also, alongside your stunning fiction in themed issues.”
