The Screech Owl
Website
From the Editor
We are the voice of Lilith, a site and magazine devoted to the best contemporary poetry, prose, short stories and articles.
Voices can be lost or forgotten, emotions ignored for the sake of vanity or greed and the blood of the fallen trampled into the gutter’s wash, poetry is the written embodiment of the human spirit and fields this pain, this love with equal ferocity.
Good literature shows the variety and endurance that Mankind can share and we at ‘The Screech Owl’ wish to offer some of the best, new voices that embody such characteristics that we find are the better aspects in the turbulent nature of humanity.

Kathleen Wright says
Hi, I am a creative writing student at San Francisco State University, USA. My final project is to present literary reviews that are close to my editorial sensibilities. Screech Owl is one of the reviews that I am doing some research and background on for my final presentation.
I am curious about who the editors of Screech Owl are and what brought you together?
Respectfully,
Kathleen Wright-Poet
