Trafika Europe
Website
From the Editor
Trafika Europe showcases current fiction and poetry in English and English translation from across the 47 Council of Europe countries, with our online quarterly digest. . . and featuring, from Autumn 2015, Europe’s first online “literary” radio station. The hope is to make a meeting point for cultures, provide a forum for showcasing what is exciting in emerging voices across the continent, and explore issues toward a greater sense of belonging and, ultimately, a more shared identity in Europe. Submissions
Trafika Europe accepts submissions of new fiction and poetry in English and English translation from any Council of Europe country. We are happy to consider (a) whole short stories, (b) novel excerpts of about 10 pages up to chapter-length, and (c) selections of poetry (ideally 7-10 poems/pages, from which we’d select further) – preferably in Word or Word-compatible file format, 12-point, double-spaced. Any work accepted for our online journal is automatically also considered as submitted for our annual Trafika Europe print “best-of” anthology. Please submit via email only. Information about the work, author and translator (if any) is helpful. (For works accepted for publication, a high-quality thumbnail author photo via email will also be requested.)
