From the Editor
A Quiet Courage is an online literary journal specializing in tiny words. We publish compelling, poignant, memorable, and well-written microfiction and poetry in 100 words or less. A Quiet Courage was begun in March 2015. We publish on a continuous basis whenever we receive something that we like.
Submissions
For more information on the type of writing that we like and what we are looking for to be published on A Quiet Courage, please read our About page, which can be found here: http://aquietcourage.wordpress.com/about/
read through our Submission Guidelines and have a look around all throughout our site in general. We have a special affinity for Holocaust-related works, but this does not mean that we only want Holocaust-related writing. Please see our site for specific details.
We seek the absolute best, most compelling, well-written, poignant, and memorable microfiction and poetry of 100 words or less. Your writing should blow us away and make us go “Wow” in awe and admiration. We want to wish we’d written that. We are looking for quality, nothing sloppy, poorly written, and/or amateurish. We’ll only accept the best, and the site won’t update until we receive something that we really like and that we really consider worthy of being published on our site. We want to be touched and in awe of your writing. We want to remember your writing for weeks afterward, and not in a bad way.
