Information about your publication |
eHorror is seeking to expand the world of horror short fiction by publishing stories by new and relatively unknown authors. From the sublime, to the literary, to the ridiculous, we publish well-written horror fiction of all kinds, offering up the best variety in short horror fiction every month. Our current issue and all back issues are available now at www.efictionmag.com/ehorror . Unlike many other publications, we also offer open workshops to members of our website, all absolutely free. Writers who submit to our publication but find their work declined are encouraged to take advantage of our free workshops, whether they resubmit with us or not. |
What type of submissions are you looking for? |
We’re looking for fresh, original horror of all kinds as long as it is well-written and contains a great story. We don’t need to scream with every word, but we do want a story that will stay with us long after we’ve read it. We love everything, from traditional ghost stories to psychological and literary horror. We don’t want sparkly vampires or buff but vapid werewolves. |
Tell us about upcoming events or contests |
The current contest open for submissions is our ‘Undead September’ contest. We’re looking for the best five zombie stories, and the winner–as voted by our readers–will win $50 and a lifetime subscription to the magazine, including any print formats that may come in the near future. |
