From the Editor
Fowl Feathered Review is the disorderly quarterly from Orono, Maine, featuring an eclectic mix of creative works. Our pages showcase a variety of poetry, short stories, and art from talented contributors. We pride ourselves on our open and accessible submission process, welcoming new pieces at any time. Our editorial team, led by Editor Virgil Kay, is committed to reviewing and responding to all submissions promptly, ensuring that contributors hear back from us within a week.
For those interested in submitting their work, we accept a range of creative pieces. Poets are invited to send 2-3 pieces of their finest verse, while fiction writers can submit 1-2 short stories for consideration. Visual artists are also encouraged to participate, with the option to submit 1-6 works of art. All submissions should be sent as attachments to fowlpoxpress@mail2poet.com, with a clear address to Virgil Kay, Editor, in the email. We maintain an open submission policy, accepting new works 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. This means that whenever inspiration strikes, whether it’s the middle of the night or a holiday afternoon, Fowl Feathered Review is ready to receive your creative offerings
Submissions
We need experimental and honest work. If you decide to write haiku on frozen pancakes, we’ll check them out. Go nuts. But be sincerely nuts.
Upcoming
No contests. Unless you’re into Godzilla costumes or chicken costumes. We can discuss that.
