Hieronimo’s is a new horror magazine. We specialize in weird fiction. We want to make a home for literature of the uncanny.
Submissions
We want ambitious, intelligent work. Guidelines:
We’re looking for weird fiction. Weird fiction is a real, living genre. One of its greatest practitioners, and the man who coined the term, was H.P. Lovecraft. He wrote a lot about it. If you’re curious, read this:
We’re looking mostly for short fiction (under 7k words), but may take something longer if it’s really good. Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but no reprints.
Submission to our magazine is free. Simply email your stories (in Standard Manuscript Format) to editor@hieronimos.com.
If your story is accepted, you’ll be paid pro-rate ($.03/word) for your story, and given a complimentary one-year subscription to our magazine.
We offer a personal critique of your fiction submission with the purchase of a year’s subscription to our magazine.
