Information about your publication: | Our goal is to publish poems online that we feel speak to the ideas of Apocalypticism as described by Peter O’Leary in his essay “Apocalypticism: A Way Forward for Poetry”, published by The Chicago Review. |
What type of submissions are you looking for?: | We want poems that use language as a way to create/destroy the boundaries/barriers between ____ and ____. Form and content are not as important as how words are used and what the intention of the poet is, that is, to discover connections. Steven Manuel, a fellow Apocalyptic poet introduced Jeff and I to the Greek word THUMA or THUMOS meaning spirit found in the divinity of breath or blood. |
Tell us about upcoming events or contests: | We are accepting submissions year round for our monthly issues. |
