Man in the Street Magazine

From the Editor
Man in the Street is an independent, online magazine launched in 2017. The publication was founded in the interest and exaltation of “common people.” Our aim is to expand thought & inspiration on the charm, magic, law of the ordinary today that makes it so predictably, ineluctably human: the frustration, the failure, the double-mindedness, the temporary harbors. The pub fights and friendships. Familiar places, textures. Love, rancor, peeling potatoes. We seek work that, in your peculiar way, performs and exemplifies the experience of being in a state of complete ordinariness.

Submissions
From their submissions page:
Please send no more than 10 pages of poetry at a time. We are currently only reading flash fiction and nonfiction—and while you may send more than one piece at a time, please keep this, too, under 10 pages.
Along with the work, please include your full name, city, state, country (if outside US), and the most fascinating or mundane moment of your day. Be free to include an illustration or photo (of your own) to accompany your piece. We don’t promise that it will be published with your piece but, again, be free to throw it at us.
