Information about your publication |
Much like the delicate shells left behind by octopuses of the same name, Paper Nautilus strives to combine perfection and vulnerability. We encourage an eclectic range of work from emerging and established writers. We publish one issue annually, and as of 2012, we also publish one chapbook manuscript (of fiction, poetry, or mixed genre) from our yearly contest. We love everything from experimental writing and hybrid forms to sonnets and classic character-driven narrative; work can be powerful no matter what the aesthetic operating behind it. |
What type of submissions are you looking for? |
Poetry, short fiction, flash fiction, prose poems, and lit under 160 characters. We love everything from experimental writing and hybrid forms to sonnets and classic character-driven narrative; work can be powerful no matter what the aesthetic operating behind it. We do not publish plays, creative non-fiction, or scholarly essays (or previously published work). |
