From the Editor

The shady doors is a new journal that publishes unusual, offbeat stories from every genre. We are based in Lowell, Massachusetts, in a small office run by Shady Doors Press. We were started in 2014 to find and highlight new talent in the literary world and to provide an outlet to established authors who want to publish unique short stories that cannot be published elsewhere. We are a small staff of eight, mostly volunteers, who are working non-stop on the creation of the first issue of our journal, which is cover dated for May 2015. The shady doors will run monthly, offering digital subscriptions to readers.

Short stories and flash fiction in any genre, that have a dark or noir feeling.
