From the Editor
Small Po[r]tions publishes short[er] and experimental work along with multimedia and intermedia writing and art. The journal is published three times yearly in February, June, and October.
Small Po[r]tions aims to curate works from a variety of artists. The journal has published experimental poetry and prose, cross- and post-genre writing, video poetry, visual poetry, asemic writing, visual art, and documentations of gallery exhibitions and more experiential-based art forms. Small Po[r]tions is also interested in presenting the journal as an art object. Each issue is designed, printed, and bound by the editors in the Jik Ji Studio in Bothell, Washington.
All Small Po[r]tions issues are published both online and in print, with some work published solely in print, some solely online, and some both in print and online. Each issue is a combination of both print and digital media, with the print component having a focus on design and book arts and the online component featuring selections from the print issue beside media work.
