We promote and highlight authors and their books. Since inception we have promoted over 850 authors. We let writers and readers come behind the scenes of successful authors and enter their world. Authors sharing their secrets of writing techniques and the reasons they are successful. You will also find instructional and inspirational articles. Readers enjoy finding out about their favorite authors and meeting new authors,. While writers like to see what successful authors are doing to continue to be successful as well as how they became successful. Come and enter our world. You will find the newest books being showcased as well as the must reads. You can enter into the Take Five Studio and hear the authors reading excerpts from their books and then settle down in Must Read TV to watch their book trailers. Visit MicNite and read the descriptions of their newest books.

Submissions

We are open to instructional pieces on anything to do with writing…such as plots, dialogues, developing characters, techniques of editing. Just email editor@southernwritersmag.com

May 1 we begin our 4th Annual Short Story Fiction Contest. Grand Prize is $500 with publication of story in our special edition magazine.as well as First Placer Winner being on the cover.

We are looking for Mystery/Thriller Authors to be showcased in our September/October 2015 magazine. We are looking for Romance Authors to be showcased in our Jan/February 2016 magazine.
