| Information about your publication: | STR has been around for about a year and a half. We publish an issue online about every other month. We recently printed an anthology featuring the best pieces from our first year online, and we plan to do this annually. Our sub-title is “Contemporary Southern Arts and Literature,” and that is our focus. |
| What type of submissions are you looking for?: | We have a concentration on new and interesting takes on traditional Southern themes, and we favor Southern writers. However, we take submissions from anyone, on any topic. We publish fiction and poetry, but also creative non-fiction, academic essays, and short plays. We also publish visual art, and we’d love to include some short digital films. |
