The Vehicle is a biannual literary magazine produced by the students of Eastern Illinois University. Since 1959, The Vehicle has been publishing poetry, short stories, creative nonfiction, and artwork by EIU’s students but now The Vehicle has opened its doors to submissions from anyone, anywhere, and has moved online to facilitate the transition. We hope you enjoy The Vehicle’s new format and we look forward to seeing your submissions soon! |

We welcome submissions in categories of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, drama, and art. We?re not too picky about themes, styles, or standardized spelling. We?re only looking for one thing?and that?s good writing. |
