Information about your publication |
The Wordsmith Journal Magazine is a monthly online magazine that was birthed in October 2011 and provides a unique and necessary product for discerning readers. TWJM has become a showcase for Christian publishers, big or small, and for authors, whether they are published by large traditional book presses or small and independent publishers. Our goal is to bring inspiring stories directly into the hands of readers. In each issue we feature author interviews, regular columns, book reviews, short stories, contests, and more. Primarily Christian-based, we do not adhere to any particular denomination, nor do we question the integrity or worship of our readers, interview candidates, sponsors, columnists, readers, or authors who advertise with us. We promote Christian/Inspiration fiction, family-friendly books, non-fiction, self help, and stories of an introspective nature with a strong moral message. Our submission guidelines reflect this purpose. |
What type of submissions are you looking for? |
We accept short stories (both fiction and non-fiction) as well as poetry. TWJM considers Inspirational and family-friendly stories in all genres — slice of life, sweet romance, satirical, speculative & fantasy, etc. We will also consider stories involving edgier content so long as there is a strong moral message (no explicit sexuality or violence, please). Stories with word counts below 2,500 are given preference; however, we will entertain longer stories of exceptional quality. |
Tell us about upcoming events or contests |
Currently we are running a Reviewer’s Choice contest for books reviewed in TWJM during 2012. In May we’ll be running a contest to give away a Kindle Paperwhite or Nook Simple Touch |
