Verse-Virtual
Website
From the Editor
Verse-Virtual is an online magazine of eclectic poetry. My name is Firestone Feinberg. I am the sole editor and owner of the journal. I started Verse-Virtual in 2013 as a website that featured the work of a group of member-writers — all outstanding contemporary poets. In May 2013, I converted Verse-Virtual into an ezine. Verse-Virtual features all kinds of poetry — with some limitations.
Simultaneous submissions are welcome. Reprints (previously published poems) are welcome. V-V claims no rights except to publish poems and keep them in an archive on the site. At all times the copyright remains with the writer.
I just published the inaugural (June 2014) issue. V-V is published every month around the first of each month. I try to let writers know as soon as possible whether or not
I accept their poems for publication in V-V. So far, I have been able to inform authors within a week; that may change if I am flooded by submissions.
Before submitting PLEASE READ THE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES on the website (http://www.verse-virtual.com). Thank you for your interest. –Firestone Feinberg
Submissions
I am looking for all kinds of poetry — with some exceptions (see guidelines on site). I want poetry that is clearly and easily understood, poetry with personality, poetry that is unique, inspired, inspiring, interesting, creative, well-crafted, poetry of short to medium length, poetry that is different. For limitations please see guidelines on site.
I wish I could pay poets, but I cannot. All the expenses of running the site are mine. I have the site because I enjoy poetry and I like to help people.
Upcoming
We have no scheduled events nor have we contests now, but that might change with time.

Always great to see new outlets for poetry. How do you feel about rhymed and Japanese poetry? Debbie
