Sympathy Is for a Dead Chinese Princess by Raymond Farr
Sympathy Is for a Dead Chinese Princess
by Raymond Farr
I don’t like fairy tales
I like touch downs
I like potato wedges, says the dead Chinese princess
Who could ever forget her impression
Of a woman turning a page drowning in ennui?
It’s why suicide is a common deterrent
To late night games of gin with Nick & Amy
It’s why a mouth full of marbles
It’s why a dead Chinese princess is full of dimes
& takes all of Sunday
To make love in the park
