Margaret and Anne left, hugging tight.
“We’d love the child as our own,” Margaret sobbed.
“We’ll try the old-fashioned way,” Anne said.
A boy stayed out after dark. Fangs caught the moonlight.
“Come to mama,” Anne hissed.
